Things I learned about Book Fair this week is that Pennies count as negative points, while everything from nickels and higher count as positive. I learned during my reading this week that Alexandria is believed by some to be where the "fall of Ancient Egypt" took place and/or ended.

This week in Media class I learned that Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus is a book in my section. Something I learned from my reading this week was a lot about Egyptian culture, such as how "The House of Life" was a real thing (supposedly where Egyptians performed magic) in Egyptian culture and many of the mythological tales told in the peak of Ancient Egypt's rule.
This week in Media class I learned that we are required to know all the books, authors, and series' in our section. Another thing I learned is how to search for specific genres, authors, and lexiles of books on Destiny. We also learned that a New York Times Bestseller does not count as an award.
In this week of Media class, I learned how to transfer the cover picture of a book from Destiny to my Weebly. We also learned how to answer student questions on our reading blog. Another thing we learned is how to add a library book to our personal lists on Destiny.
This week in Media class I learned the specific order of shelves in the library in alphabetical order. I also learned that you are not supposed to use the bottom section on each shelf unless it is required for space. Another thing I learned is that fiction books show the first three letters of the author's last name, while non-fiction do not. I learned that the correct shelving method is to start at the top-left, then go to the section below the top-left. After that section gets full, either go farther down if you need the space or go to the right of the section you started at.
This week in Media school class we learned how to create and correctly format a website on Weebly. We also learned about other people in the form of three things that are true about them and one thing that is a lie. Another thing we learned is the difference between a regular page and a blog page in Weebly, as well as what pages we needed for the website (Home, Reading Blog, Media Lessons, and Contact).
